Nikon Coolpix S710 Digital Camera
Nikon has done it again with the Coolpix S710.
This is one has style and its a slim version of the Coolpix series which has 14.5mp and a 3.6x wide-angle optical Nikkor Zoon Lens. It also sports a large, bright 3in LCD screen. The EXPEED image processor technology has not been left out either, so you have image stabilization and razor sharp pictures as a result.
More Coolpix S710 Highlights:
- Optical VR Image Stabilization
- EXPEED Image Processing
- Scene Auto Selector
- Program, Aperture, Shutter, and Manual Exposure Modes
- Auto adjusts up to ISO 3200
- Nikon Image Innovations
- TV movies with Sound
- 16 Scene Modes
This could be the perfect low-cost and compact model for beginner and expert photographers. This Nikon Coolpix S710 is packed with features for those who want to take sharp, lively pictures without having to mess with settings all the time.
For those who like fumbling with settings, it has manual control so you can get creative
with this digital powerhouse in a small package.
Its got a Smile Shutter which detects up to three different faces of a person's smile, and then determines which one is closest to the center of the frame. Then it uses the shutter Face Priority AF, which is a face-finding technology that finds and focuses on up to 12 faces in a group portrait.
The Program, Aperture, Shutter, and Manual Exposure Modes Scene Auto Selector will automatically recognize the background environment in your picture and will adjust the camera setting accordingly. One cool feature I like is the Blink warning. This feature will let you know when your subject's eyes are closed so you can take the picture again with eyes wide open.
As long as you have available space on your SD/SDHC card, you can make high quality TV Movies with Sound in 16 Scenes Mode, by just pressing a button, with approximately 42MB of internal memory formats - JPEG, AVI, WAV. Make movies simply by connecting your Coolpix S710 to your TV.
The In-Camera Red-Eye Fix D-Lighting feature will allow you to save pics that are too dark for printing by enhancing the underexposed areas of the picture, while leaving the properly exposed areas alone.
It doesnt matter who you are what your experience level is, you can shoot professional-like photos in any environment with ease!
Included In the Package:
Software Suite CD-ROM
USB Cable UC-E6
Rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL12
Battery Charger MH-65
Strap AN-CP19
Audio Video Cable EG-CP14

I have been thinking about buying this camera for a while because the one I have is about 15 years old. I have never had a Nikon, and I love the big screen on this one. Thanks for the great info!
